Mini Brief: Pre-Production Recce

We went out looking for the perfect location to shoot our short sequence, the key thing we were looking for in our mise-en-scene was a family living room. However trying to keep the theme of horror in mind, as well as good lighting and areas of low lighting to incorporate the theme of horror; we decided that the upstairs of the pavilion would be the ideal location. There are light and bright areas, as well as dark corners which builds tension. I liked how old and mysterious looking the chairs were and how they looked a little bit antique.
